Get ready for some New Year cheer and eco-action!
ACAN Education kicked off our Youth Sustainability Workshops Series at the end of 2025, with our very first workshop, and it was an absolute blast! Our incredible young participants, like little eco-elves, transformed everyday waste into amazing creations, spreading joy and learning all about sustainability.
What did we get up to? We dove into the exciting world of waste, making learning super fun. The kids discovered cool facts about different materials, mastered the art of waste sorting, and really grasped why it’s so vital for our planet. We watched awesome videos, battled it out in a super engaging waste-sorting game, and then unleashed our creativity with hands-on crafting.
A big thank you goes to Ole Kyiv restaurant for generously hosting the event. We are also very grateful to Orms Architects, the American Institute of Architects in the United Kingdom, Ukrainain Arts Hub and students from UAL for providing the necessary materials. And a special acknowledgement to our dedicated volunteers: Taslim Jarin Alam, Shiban Choudhury, Angelina Gladushevska, and Maryna Osmolovska. Your contribution was invaluable.
